Irish-Themed Commercial Mural for O'Dowd's Pub, EllerslieTo celebrate the opening of the popular O'Dowd's Irish pub in Ellerslie, Auckland, I was commissioned to create a series of Irish-themed murals and artworks that would bring the character and spirit of Ireland into the pub's interior.
The brief was to create colourful, recognisable imagery with a playful twist. The artwork features iconic Irish references including toucans flying with pints of Guinness, Tayto crisps, the Irish flag and an oversized “Vitamin G” Guinness—all brought together in my bold, graphic style.
The goal was to create artwork that would complement the atmosphere of the pub, give customers something memorable to look at and photograph, and reinforce the venue's distinctly Irish personality without relying solely on traditional pub décor.
These commercial murals in Ellerslie were relatively quick to produce, but created a lasting visual feature within the space—demonstrating how custom artwork can transform a hospitality venue and strengthen its identity.

The owner of the center wanted to have something to add some colour and interest onto the fence surrounding the property. As residents have a walkway past the fence and bedroom windows look out over the fence, she wanted something that would remind them of home, create a sense of peace and incorporate native plants and birds, while recognizing the Pasifika community that frequent the center.
